Every parish is required to hold an annual meeting at which residents can voice any concerns they have about the village. This is not a council meeting but is usually chaired by the Parish Council Chairman and the Clerk takes the minutes. It is usually held in May, after the Annual General Meeting of the Council.
The meeting is required by the Local Government Act (1972). See Schedule 12, Part III.
